EAT CHEESE, ENJOY CHEESE ... SAY CHEESE
My new book shows guilt-free cheese recipes

CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Recently, articles were all over the news about the tallest people in
the world. The Dutch took over the # 1 ranking in the world as the tallest, due to
healthier eating, a well-balanced diet, and they are still eating cheese every day.
“As real Dutch Cheese heads, we grew up with cheese; it is a natural part of our diet.
We enjoy every type – young, lite mature, old – but, we enjoy it in moderation”.

The recipes in my new book “Say Cheese” are a great example of that down-to-e arth
Dutch philosophy, combined with delicious veggies, intriguing spice fusions and other
protein sources essential for a proportionate diet. My passion for cooking comes from
both my grandmother and mother, who cooked traditional Dutch meals every day.

“Say Cheese” is an encore for the way I was brought up: 3 home meals a day prepared
with fresh ingredients and at least 1 of them had some kind of cheese in it. Delightful, yummy food with a great level of satisfaction, which all of us can enjoy guilt-free …. in moderation.

The second in a series of books to help people eat healthier and maintain a healthy, desirable weight. I will show you that eating cheese is very satisfying and healthy, because it is a great source of protein and calcium. “Say Cheese” has more than 50 different, delicious variations of the use of Dutch cheese in recipes that fit in a well-balanced diet of fresh herbs, veggies, lean meat, poultry, fish and seafood.

The recipes in my first book “Amazing 7 Minute Meals” originated from traditional world cuisines, which she found through extensive world travels.

“Knowing what’s in your food is the key to healthy eating, and health management. Make it yourself with no trans-fatty fats, no enriched flours and no chemicals ”.

My recipe for this month is a Refreshing Chèvre & Pear Salad. An pear is not only a great snack, and if you have my book “Amazing 7 Minute Meals” or experienced one of my cooking demos, you know I love to add fresh fruit to my recipes for their natural flavor and texture. Their sweetness is not the only benefit they bring to the dish, because vitamins,
anti-oxidants, and fiber are all abundant in fresh fruits.

This salad is one of the recipes from my new book Say Cheese. In Holland, we eat cheese every day, use it in our recipes, and enjoy it to the fullest, but also in moderation, which you will exsperience in my recipes.

Remember that every pound goes through your mouth, so if you have to watch your waistline, or have to lose weight, I have a few easy tips:
• Do not shop for groceries, when hungry. You buy chocolate, candy, and other items you
shouldn’t eat too much of or too often.
• Do not feel guilty about eating something delicious like a few appetizers, or that great
dessert. Just modify the amount. You feel satisfied for having the taste of it, and proud
that you just had a few bites.
• Prevent the feeling of being full. Eat slowly and listen to you body.
Your stomach needs the time to tell your brain, that you ate enough.
• Skip second helpings. There is always tomorrow for a nice left-over.
• Park you car a little further away from the store. Those extra steps add up.

My books “Amazing 7 Minute Meals” and “Say Cheese” are available at
your local bookstore, at Amazon.com, and you can also get a signed copy
