”Amazing 7 Minute Meals”
is not just another diet book!
The reason I wrote this book, is because my family and I know what a weight
problem is. My whole family on my father
’s side is chubby; my grandmother died of diabetes, and I suffered with bulimia
for years. Sharing my experiences, lessons learned on the path to a healthy
lifestyle, is my goal, and I am truly thankful to my family and friends for
supporting me. I needed that support to succeed, and I needed the knowledge
about healthy eating and a healthy balance to be able to succeed.
Due to the media and advertising, the visualization of overweight people about
exercise and healthy eating is drawn out of proportion.
Magazines with articles about weight loss and exercise show images of people
that represent only a very small part of our population: the perfect, athletic
men and women.
How do most overweight people visualize exercise? Skinny people dressed in tiny
outfits running on the beach, jumping up and
down in an aerobic class, or kicking their legs up in the air in a kick boxing
class.
And how do overweight people visualize healthy eating? Tasteless salads,
miniature meals and gnawing on carrots.
That is why I wrote this book with help from my son Michael, my husband John, my
friends, and even my dog Trigger, who accompanied
me on my trips to Europe in search for the weight loss answer.
The truth is quit simple. No restricted diets, no calorie counting, just knowing
what is in your food by cooking it yourself, and eating that in moderation is
easier due to the fact the slower digestion, you will have less cravings, no
hunger pains, and no unhealthy yo-yo-ing !
