CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Recently, articles were all over the
news about the tallest people in the world. The Dutch
took over the # 1 ranking in the world as the tallest, due
to healthier eating, a well-balanced diet and they are
still
eating cheese every day. “As real Dutch Cheese heads, we
grown up with cheese; it is a natural part of our diet.
We enjoy every type – young, lite mature, old – but, and
we enjoy it in moderation”, says Chef Yvonne Stephens.
The recipes in “Say Cheese” are a great example of that
down-to-earth Dutch philosophy, combined with delicious
veggies, intriguing spice fusions and other protein sources
essential for a proportionate diet.
Her passion for cooking comes from both her grandmother
and mother, who cooked traditional Dutch meals every
day. The recipes in her new book “Amazing 7 Minute
Meals” originate from traditional world cuisine she found
through her extensive world travels.
“Knowing what’s in your food is the key to healthy
eating, and health management. Make it yourself with
no trans-fatty fats, no enriched flours and no chemicals,”
says Yvonne Stephens, a graduate of the Art Institute of
Philadelphia, a cooking instructor, private chef and freelance food stylist.
In her first book “Amazing 7 Minute Meals”, Stephens provides
practical advice for healthy, easy recipes - over 100 for every taste
from all over the world: Italian, Mediterranean, Caribbean,
Hawaiian, Asian, etc. ”Delicious food for people who worry about

Salmon & Cheese Lasagna
Serves 2
Ingredients:
• 12 lasagna sheets, 2 x 4 inch
• Sauce: 1 cup cream combined with 1/2 cup tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons vodka, and
a little sea salt and black pepper
• 16 slices plus 1/3 cup grated cheese of choice
• 6-8 oz salmon, sliced into 1/4 inch thick slices
• 1 cup bell pepper mix, chopped
• 3 Tablespoons capers
• 3 tablespoons pine nuts
• 1 cup basil leaves
• 1 zucchini, sliced
1 - Pre-heat oven to 375°F/190°C.
2 - Scoop a spoonful of the sauce onto the bottom
of an oven-safe dish.
Place 4 lasagna sheets on top of the sauce.
3 - Assemble: 1 layer of 1/3 of each: cheese,
salmon slices, bell pepper, pinenuts, capers,
basil, zucchini, sauce and 4 sheets of lasagna.
4 - Repeat the same order of assembly twice,
finishing with grated cheese on top of the last
layer of lasagna sheets.
5 - Place in the oven and bake for ± 30-35 minutes.

Have to lose weight?
